I get the feeling that the nutters have some type of longing for chaos and the US going to the brink of disaster.
It's almost as if these people have some type of misguided nostalgia about the Great Depression and kind of desire to experience it themselves. Crazy!

If they only knew how hard life was for more than a decade for so many Americans...not this ridiculous romancing idea they have in their stupid minds. They actually believe they can re-set America back to what they think were 'simpler times'.

They're fucking nuts, and I think they're more than ready to  barrel toward their fucked up idea of Utopia. You know...God, guns and 'Murica.

    God help us all.

    •  My brother is such a "nutter" (4+ / 0-)

He's a Ayn Rand and Austrian Economics believer. He thinks we were So, so, so close in 2008 to having what I think he believes   as a "reboot" of our economic system to the idyllic world of Rand, Hayek, and Mises where we are all "free" to be rich. He is one of those "millionaires in waiting" you hear tell about.  He's probably cheering this on right now.

"Liberty" is a living wage. "Freedom" is not worrying about your medical bills.

'patriotic' movies where the brave-but-vastly-outnumbered-and-outgunned civilians defeat the huge invading army. They're just gullible enough to believe it's a real possibility.

(Is it time for the pitchforks and torches yet?)

Kinda reminds me of a bit Robin Williams did years ago regarding apartheid South Africa (can't find it on YouTube), the gist of which was this: you got millions and millions of blacks living around a few million (white) guys ever hear the name "Custer"?!
