I'm in RI, which is a separate state exchange. I had good experience on the phone, OK online -- until the end, when it went off to verify my income and all that. Then it came back "external verification not available," and the prices it gave me were the unsubsidized ones.

So I called back, and they said I may be able to try again when the federal website is up and running, or I may have to go into the office with proof of my (irregular) income sources, before I can get the subsidized rates that it was showing me before I completed the application.

So it's not working as well as I'd hoped. On the other hand the subsidized rates are much lower than the Kaiser estimates, so it's worth a couple of hours of hassle.
