    Just stating trends. Until it changes, expect the same. In the recent mayoral primary in Cincinnati, which was essentially a democratic primary, the turnout was an abysmal 5.68%.
    Show me consistent polling of LIKELY voters for 2014, not registered voters with these kind of polling numbers and maybe I'll develop some optimism.

      showing about 8-10% more people blaming repubs primarily for the shutdown, and dems leading the generic ballot by 5-9, there is reason for optimism. Not overconfidence, but optimism.
