will be hurt if Republicans are successful in refusing to pass appropriation bills and try to leverage continuing resolutions and the raising the debt limit to gain concessions they couldn't get at the ballot box.  Do we take a short term or long term perspective on how to help people who are hurting or will be hurt.  Will preserving the Affordable Health Care act help more people in the long run than gutting it now for 45 days of government funding and more of this same hostage taking nonsense down the road?

We need to focus on fixing the situation and quit being happy that the Republicans are getting blamed.

I don't care who gets blamed.  I care about getting this behind us and not letting it happen again.  I do not want the Democrats to give in or give up, I want them to play hard ball.  I want them to fight back with more passion than these tea partiers are fighting with to shut everything down.  Where are the constant media presence that the Republicans have?  I know the media isn't going to come looking for Democratic opinions so the Democrats have to go to them and demand to be heard... over and over and over.  And these cannot be logical explanations as to why the Republican's action could very well be not so good for the American economy because according to John Maynard's all about a supply side vs a dem...zzzz...  GET UP THERE AND SCREAM THAT THE REPUBLICANS ARE AT THIS FUCKING MOMENT, TRYING TO DESTROY THIS FUCKING COUNTRY!!!!!!!!!  Do it in the A.M., do it in the P.M. hold a fucking telethon and say it over and over and over again, 24 hours a day until somebody in the media has the balls to fact check what you are saying.  One Senator or representative doing this would be a start but if all of them grew some gonads and fought these Republican bastards as one unified force, we may be able to save this country...maybe.  I'm just not completely convinced yet that we have anybody in Washington who is actually trying to save this country.  I hope they prove me wrong.

At least when we have another economic crash and we are all out of work without healthcare or food and the police/surveillance state has effectively shut down the first amendment, at least then, we know that the American people will probably blame the Republicans a little bit more than the Democrats.  Woohoo.
