They have enormous talent and enough material to have have the humor write itself, yet this is the garbage they came up with?

Maybe I'm getting old?? (late 30's), but this was just plain crude.  What a waste of a golden opportunity to add something meaningful and funny to this crisis.

I know I can hit low to the belt and use innapropriate innuendo at times, so maybe I'm a hypocrite, but I can't help to think they squandered a goldmine with pure crap.

Damnit SNL what were you thinking?

        then i watched, with volume.
        then i listened, without watching.

        it's still funny to me.
i just disengage my 'crudity' meter, because i take it as it seems to be intended: not juvenile, not nasty.

sure, lots of things at once, references, self-references, outrageous settings -- but nowhere near as outrageous as the 'manifesto' -- so i figured Mozart would have approved, if not directed, and that was that.

not Monty Python classy crazy, but we don't have MP now.
