    Yes, the GOP has been ruined for the foreseeable future and we very well could take the House next year.  Yet, it's hard to revel in the GOP misfortune when you know a calamity is bout to occur.  Everyone is underestimating just how crazy the House GOP is.  There is going to be a default because they want one.  With all their collective messianic fervor (and yes... they have somehow brought biblical elements into this), they are completely enamored with the concept of bringing catastrophic change to a society they feel has lost its way.  there are simply too many GOP crazies in the House for us to avoid default.

    So, we are headed for default.  I'm certain of it and equally certain that consequences will be very real and very dire for everyone, not just the GOP crazies.

      You do not give in to it, you remain firm and consistent.  If that does not bring good results, you simply work around it.  I am thinking that the President will need to invoke the 14th amendment, to avert the ceiling crisis.  In any case, you do not join in the crazyness!
