    point.  The GOP is not going to get what it wants.  Obama is going to force them to relent and then negotiate on his terms because the Democrats won the most recent election.  McCain, Corker and Graham recognize that.  But we can't get to that phase until the GOP lets the hostages go.

      bust but to now move to using the sequester as the next bargaining chip.  So extortion is OK so long as the hostage takers get some sort of loot.  Extortion is bad when the ransom demands are ignored or at least in Grover's world of pragmatic politics

        like the sequester either and most of the cuts fall on the military next year.  GOP will have to give on the sequester too.
