to show me EXACTLY where you think I was being sarcastic in my diary.  Since you lobbed the accusation, I'd like to see you take the time to back it up with the specifics in my diary you think are sarcastic---as opposed to say, simply my take on things, which is what ALL diaries are about.

We DO FREAKING KNOW that NO DEAL was made today in response to the GOP's offer. Hello. That's a no. And you can spin it any way you want to, but it's a NO to the offer as it existed today. Period. And no way are you going to wake up tomorrow to find that, gee, upon reflection, the president WILL except a 6 week resolution on the Debt ceiling and no offer to fund the government, hence the shut down continues. Again, that's a NO.

No matter how much you don't like your president, or how much he's disappointed you, or how much you disagree with him, your need to deny this truth is....

    •  In the title. To be exact. (6+ / 0-)

To wit: "Wow, it's been hours and still no diary ..."

      Kinda drips, no?

      •  No. It does not drip of anything, (3+ / 0-)

except for my POV. Which many here agree with, and others like you, don't. Fine. That's what happens with almost every dairy.

But NO, there is nothing "exact" about your attempt to show "sarcasm" on my side, which is the subject of the post you responded to.

I'm A OK with people disagreeing with what I have to say. This is not my first rodeo writing a diary, and I know and expect folks to disagree. Such is the price of voice, whether here on the DK, or anywhere.

What I'm not OK with is people attributing adjectives such as "sarcastic" where I don't think they apply. And I will stand up to that.
