  •  I completed my application (21+ / 0-)

After a lot of tries, I setup my account on October 1.  However, I've never been able to actually log on.

Yesterday, I finally got the chat tool to work, and asked the customer service rep if there was tech support for log-in problems.  She said I needed to call the toll free number.  I told her that I had called before and that they couldn't help.  She said call the number and they'll reset my account.

I called and repeated what the chat person said.  The customer support person there asked me to hold while she contacted a supervisor.  The supervisor said no, we can't reset your account.  He also said that there is no anticipated date at which time log-in problems will be resolved.  But he did say i could go ahead and complete my application on the phone with the customer service rep; so I said ok, let's do that.

So the customer service rep asked all the questions that I would have filled out on line; but before she could finish, her computer froze up.  She said that she had saved what we had entered, and that I would need to call back in again and have another rep finished the process.  So I said ok, I'll do that.

I called back in and got another rep and told her what the last rep said; however, this new rep could not find the in-process application.  So we started over.  But this time the application was completed; and she said I would be receiving a confirmation in the mail.

So I'm one of the growing number of Americans who have completed an application.  Still can't log in; and haven't seen the plans yet.  But I'm making progress.  And, more importantly, we as a nation are making progress.  Very slowly, painstakingly so, but measurable.

    Love one another
