  •  No conditions, no deal (16+ / 0-)

Not sure if the Republicans are hard of hearing, delusional or still expect President Obama to cave soon.  He has said, no deal on anything until the threat of a not raising the debt ceiling  is lifted and the government with a clean CR is reopened.

The Republicans, including the Mods, need to lose their seats next year.  I could care less about their bad polling numbers.  Its dragging our country down that concerns me.

President Obama is doing the right thing by not negotiating with economic terrorists.

    No conditions, no deal.

    •  Once Obamacare gets up and running (5+ / 0-)

and people start seeing the positive results of affordable health care, the President should campaign in all the vulnerable Republican districts and help flush the toilet on those jerks. Imagine what they could do in the last two years of his Presidency.

Let's just cut the crap and call Republicans "terrorists" already.

though I could see Obama agreeing to separate-track negotiations on revenue and spending. Actually, this wouldn't be a departure at all from what he's been saying, but perhaps he'd let the Rs present it as news by including the creation of such a vehicle -- not coerced, voluntary on both sides -- in whatever "deal" emerges.

they don't listen, they're completely delusional, and they can't believe that the Dems haven't given in.
