    so I took some Ahi Tuna out of the fridge.

    It was vacuum sealed and it just took a few minutes to defrost under a stream of cold water.

    Meanwhile, I sliced a cucumber and three small Campari tomatoes.

    A couple of hours earlier I took a couple of handfuls of tiny salad shrimp out of the freezer and they were ready to go.

    Bottom line: I had some Ahi Sashimi with a cucumber/tomato salad topped with the tiny shrimp.

    I put the salad and sashimi on the table along with a spicy/red cocktail sauce, a blue cheese/mayo dressing, and some wasabi/soy sauce.

    The cocktail sauce and blue cheese dressing compliment the components of the salad (yin & yang) and the soy sauce/wasabi compliment the tuna (ditto).

    The only trouble with retirement is...I never get a day off!
