tomorrow -- before the 14th when the discharge petition "ripens."

Those signatures will have to come in fast.  I don't know enough of the mechanics for how she can get the signatures and then submit it and then get open voting on it without Boehner shutting the House down.

I trust she's good at it, but it could be dicey.  Boehner might just shut down the House on the evening of the 13th (tomorrow), just because.

Happy little moron, Lucky little man.

the fiscal cliff and he can't get his caucus to prevent it.  He has to let Pelosi do this or it will be the end of the Republican Party and he knows it.

We'll have to see on Monday, then.

Bet it doesn't get enough signatures.

          get enough signatures.
For all the declarations of "we must reopen the government and negotiate the debt limit" coming from moderate less than batshit insane Republicans, I'd almost bet not one of them will sign that discharge petition.
After all, every single one of them has voted yes to keep the government shut down.

    •  Do signers have to wait? (0+ / 0-)

Does the House need to be in session in order for signatures to be valid or is there no access?

The victorious strategist only seeks battle after the victory has been won, whereas he who is destined to defeat first fights and afterwards looks for victory.
