surprised one bit with this conversation because I hear this kind of stuff daily around here. It's like all conservatives are a bunch of zombies who repeat the talking points that were faxed to them from GOP central or something. You can almost predict what they are going to say even before they say it. I called my rep Legitimate Rape Phil Gingrey and his person said that he did not support default. Kind of surprised me. Anyway, thanks for calling your rep. They probably need to hear from more people like you and less teavangelicals.

    It's the policy stupid

Poor you.  That guy is a real piece of work.  But his better know a district appearance on the Colbert report was just classic!

Of course he will say he does not support default because he will vote to increase the debt limit by a month and a half, if Democrats agree to defund Obamacare,  repeal the tax rate on millionaires that was increased in the last deal, agree to cut food stamp funding my $40 billion, agree to the conscience clause which will allow employers to deny medical services they do not agree with, admit that President Obama was born in Kenya, and extract a sworn promise from Senate Democrats to vote aye on impeaching the President if the House does impeach.
IF Democrats are not willing to give those eecy weency teency concession, Gingrey and the rest of the House Republican loony bin can't be blamed for pushing the economy of the cliff!

I am the neo-con nightmare, I am a liberal with the facts.

all conservatives ARE faxed talking points from GOP central! they are repeated on hateradio and Fakes News and the "thinking is too much trouble, just tell me what to believe" people just repeat what they have heard.

Politics is like driving. To go backward put it in R. To go forward put it in D.
