    or their staff has to pass a test on their knowledge of what the Constitution says or how the government or Congress works.  They do not read the bills anymore, they vote the way they are told.  What makes you think that he is not just spouting talking points given him by the conservative think tanks.

      they're still lies.  Perhaps the staffer didn't know they were lies (though he ought to have), but certainly the conservative think-tanks that created them do.

      We have people who represent us and some don't know a damn thing about the Constitution or how the government or Congress works?
      We are in such deep doodoo.

        The idea that congressional aides do not have a high level exam or test to be qualified is irresponsible. As though running the office of the most powerful people in the country is just like a fast food place. Its not.

        A true craftsman will meticulously construct the apparatus of his own demise.

          be feigned.  How naïve can an adult be in Washington DC with lobbyists coming at you from all directions?  Especially if the member had a prior career as an attorney representing high profile corporate clients in appellate cases.
