  •  Will a Latino candidate on either ticket (0+ / 0-)

    involve new and/or stepped up efforts to reach into that community? Or will it simply be a "put him/her on the ticket, and they will come" approach? Those are two very different mindsets, and it's not clear which of them is occupied by either party--not entirely, anyway.

      For the GOP it will be the latter.  For the Dems it could be the former.  

      That being said I expect Hillary's VP to b a white male and I do think Martinez for the GOP has a good shot...but I doubt the GOP will actually do well in outreach...if they even try.

      Heck Martinez might be smart and decline and build her own profile for a run for Senate or Pres of her own.
