  •  Bohlinger pens op-ed attacking Daines/Shutdown (4+ / 0-)
Montana’s Congressman Steve Daines represents the most populous congressional district with diverse political thought, with about one-third of them calling themselves Democrats, one-third think of themselves as Republicans and one-third think of themselves as Independents.

It was inappropriate for Congressman Daines to help lead the tea party and their effort to shut down our government or hold our citizens hostage by opposing the raising of the debt ceiling. If the debt ceiling had not been raised, it would have brought about a financial collapse felt around the world.

We need people in Congress who can reach across the aisle and find common ground during these troubling times.

    Interesting.

I might be reading too much into this, but does the "about one-third of them calling themselves Democrats, one-third think of themselves as Republicans and one-third think of themselves as Independents" quote potential hint at an indie Senate run for Bohlinger?  That would be a monkey wrench.
