    The old guard, the ones who, no, they don't fear the teabaggers because they don't have to worry about getting elected. They're the epitome of Stalin's quote, "Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything."

    Now if Cruz wins the Republican presidential primaries, they will put on their game faces and do the best they can to defeat Hillizabiden in 2016 and start preparing the talking points for why they lost early in July. But I don't think that'll happen because I have faith in the majority of Americans, even the self-identified Republicans, and I don't think they've all fallen for the crazy yet. And as long as Cruz is a Paul-style insurgent candidate they won't give him the time of day any more than they did Paul.

    Oh, and I agree about Booker. I doubt he's the ideal candidate but at least he's sane.
