  •  I have a mitral valve prolapse (0+ / 0-)

its a heart condition that is quite often harmless. Mine is of the totally harmless variety. C an't contribute to heart disease, no lower life expectancy. But it's considered a pre-existing condition. So I couldn't get health insurance because I had a problem that isnt a problem.

Which is so damn stupid. I feel like a jerk! Cause here I am, about to get health insurance, when I'm far from the person who needs it most. As if my suffering was anywhere near theirs.

I feel bad for benefiting from this. I feel like I should've been out there demanding others be treated well, but I always knew I was fighting for myself too.

I guess I shouldnt be this upset. I mean, part of the whole problem was people like me getting labelled with pre-existing conditions that absolutely did not need to be. Still...

conversations that make no sense are one of the things that make conservatives so attractive.
