        with other whistleblowers who traveled to Russia to give him an award:

        He was handed the Sam Adams Associates for Integrity in Intelligence Award (SAAII) award alongside former FBI agent Coleen Rowley, former NSA executive Thomas Drake, former Department of Justice adviser Jesselyn Raddack and retired CIA officer Ray McGovern.

        They are believed to be the first Americans to have met him since Russian accepted his bid for asylum in August.

        As reported by Sky News, he told how he had no regrets about leaking secret information and said he was settling into his new life.

        According to Mr Drake, Snowden is "making the best of his circumstances and is living as normally as possible". Link
