Is this a permanent removal of the Monsanto Protection Act..., or is this just a temporary thing until they shell out more money to put it back into another bill...?

Corporations like Monsanto who are richer than Midas don't give up the potential to grab, steal, or blackmail real people and Congress Critters so they can get even more money.

A watchdog needs to keep an eye on this bill to make sure it isn't resurrected and passed (like the dead FISA fiasco came back to life suddenly one Friday morning the summer of '08 and was shoved through the House, voted on, passed, signed, and out the door being hand-carried to the Senate that same day.

The lesson to be learned from that little "exercise in power" is that Congress can occasionally move faster than a speeding glacier.

Between the Patriot Act and FISA fiasco '08 being renewed and added to instead of letting the damned illegal and unconstitutional things expire, we STILL do not have our rights back, nor habeas corpus, thanks to MCA '06.

We need to seriously push our senators and reps to repeal IN FULL the unconstitutional and illegal office of faith-based initiatives, AUMFs, Patriot Acts, MCA '06, FISA fiasco '08, and MCA '09... none of this fix a paragraph here or there - restore our full rights to us by repealing all of those illegal and unconstitutional laws passed because the Bushistas lied us into an illegal, unconstitutional, dishonorable, unethical, and immoral war on behalf of private oil corporations.  That all should have been done no later than 1 Feb '09 when there was a Democratic majority in both houses and the executive branch after the '08 election.... and it definitely needs doing before the '16 election when there's a potential for another Repuke resurgence or even executive.

I welcome the news about Monsanto not getting its way, but fear they'll ultimately get their way in the long run.  Too many of our Congress Critters are on corporate payrolls.

I'm sick of attempts to steer this nation from principles evolved in The Age of Reason to hallucinations derived from illiterate herdsmen. ~ Crashing Vor
