    My vet puts an upcharge on the cost of vaccines, we buy the ones we can and do them ourselves. The vet visit then becomes cheaper, I didn't mean to avoid it altogether. Sorry for the mixup, it's early still for me.

      that at first the vet should do all of that in case there is a reaction or problem--it gets complicated if you are the one who bought the vaccine and gave the shot.  Later on when they are adults, it may possible to give the same vaccine once you know it is tolerated, and you are giving the same vaccine, dose and strength.
