  •  Feederwatch question: (7+ / 0-)

I started doing observations last winter, and to help me in identification I started photographing the area below the feeder where seed drops and most birds are foraging. Then I realized I was better able to do the How-many-in-view-at-once count with a photo. Is this an acceptable technique for Feederwatch? Seems to me it's more accurate, especially when floods of juncos are hopping about.
