just isn't true.  He has a lot of excuses why he supported Bush and his policies and now doesn't.  WHatever.

He is anti-Obama and anti the democratic party.

critical of torture, spying on Americans, etc.  The Democratic party needs to defend the US Constitution as their oath of office requires of them or be strong enough to face just criticism.

the US constitution.  That's the typical GG condescension that turns a lot of people off.  Greenwald believes that he alone stands for the constitution and people that disagree with him are somehow unamerican.  It's a load of BS.

Just because he thinks that the NSA program is unconstitutional doesn't mean that it is.  He is not the arbiter of what's constitutional and what's not.  Sorry.

full of shit.  Many more eloquent and patient than myself have demonstrated in no unmistakable terms just how full of shit he is.

I guess it's baseless to point out that GG is not the only one who supports the constitution?  I guess there is a possibility that he is in your eyes.

You're taking your own perception of his positions and dishonestly ascribing it to him as if it were actually his.

And he isn't the only one who thinks the NSA is doing some unconstitutional things.

Just because you buy into what the government says doesn't mean everyone else with a half a brain can't see for themselves, based on all the documents that have been released, that there's some questionable shit happening.

against people that disagree with him or question his work or simply support Obama.  There is nothing baseless in my claim.  His twitter wars with critics and others are well documented.

A good place to start would be right here on DKOS

                Remember this offensive tweet

                http://www.dailykos.com/...

Or how about the Obama raping a nun tweet.

                http://thegrio.com/...

or clashing with MSNBC hosts because they question his NSA reporting

                http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...

If you disagree about Grrenwalds take on Obama's drone policies you're a sociopath

                http://www.theguardian.com/...

How about his twitter tussle with Joshua Faust and his reporting about the errors and misleading comments contained in Greenwalds NSA reporting.

                http://joshuafoust.com/...

There are numerous articles by Greenwalds fellow journalists that describe him and his petty push back against anyone that questions him.

There is a place to decide the constitutionality of what the NSA does.  It's the FISA court and then the supreme court.  Not Mr Greenwalds rants and articles that are riddled with holes and conveniently leave out information that goes against his assertions.

                •  So you regurgitate some contentious tweets (0+ / 0-)

and his tussle with Foust, a known defense industry shill/NSA apologist, while failing to address this:

Greenwald believes that he alone stands for the constitution and people that disagree with him are somehow unamerican. It's a load of BS.
I asked you to support that claim, and you tell me to go research a bunch of shit that proves nothing other than Greenwald is a meanie.

                  Sorry, not impressed.

and people that disagree with him are somehow unamerican
                     Something which I addressed.

The point I am making is that he condescends and insults people that challenge him and disagree with him by comparing them to NAZIs and accusing them of being shills.etc.  Something that you just did so I guess you are down with that type of tactics.

The problem with Greenwald was he accused Faust of not revealing the fact that he has worked as a contractor for defense industry when Faust has that prominently displayed on his site.

Makes no difference to me weather you're impressed or not.

                    •  But you failed to address the bolded text (0+ / 0-)

I don't care whether he's a meanie to people who disagree with him. He's not the first, and won't be the last, to do so.

But using that as a reason to discredit his reporting, and mischaracterizing his positions, however, is another matter.

I'm sorry he's hurt President Obama's and your feelings, though.

                      Time heals.

                        Which I addressed.

I never used it as a reason to discredit his reporting.  His sloppiness, lying, hyperbole, flawed logic and omission of details is the reason I don't take him seriously as a reporter.

Like Greenwald your petty condescension is a transparent silly tactic.  Yes I'm sure Obama's feelings are hurt.  I take it you have nothing constructive to add.

What the NSA is doing to us is certainly unconstitutional.  It's not even up for debate.  Listening into our private phone conversations and recording them for future data mining defies our right to privacy, so does gathering up our e-mail contacts.

          Sorry, but there it is.

          •  The supreme court is the ultimate arbiter of what (0+ / 0-)

is constitutional.  They have already ruled that the Govt collecting meta Data from telecoms etc does not violate the 4th amendment.

Greenwald who is a constitutional lawyer fails to inform his followers of this.

Even GG is not claiming that the govt is listening to our phone conversations without a warrant.
