    the long tapered bevel on the lid of the square one, a shaper?

      If you`re talking about the square one up front with a striped center, I just cut a shallow angle from the center to the edge 4 times  with a compound mitre rail saw then eased the edges on an 8" disc sander I put together. I made it with a motor, a disc that fit the shaft & mounted that in a little table base.
      The disc sticks up from the table halfway through a slot in the table, so I have a level base to set my piece on to sand.

      I have a pic. one second. I took some shop pix today & just remembered.
      Here`s what the disc sander looks like.
      I built a couple of them. One is not finished yet.
