I did so love that presentation/frame:

We did not wage this long and contentious battle over a website.
Apparently (according to another recent diary), though, MSNBC has spent all day slicing and dicing this speech as if it was some kind of major policy initiative. Uh, duh. It was a statement acknowledging that the website had some serious fuckups initially (which it still has but it's absolutely getting better) and it got in a few partisan digs against the idiots on the other side of the aisle.

I can enjoy that for what it is. It's like "what, do they think we're all gonna fold on this now?" Buncha fuckin' derps...

This all started with "what the Republicans did to language".

the constant grabbing at straws is getting old. And, I love your tag line lunachickie. I was just cursing that ass Frank Luntz the other day. Let's teach people how to communicate to elicit instant emotion, instead of critical thinking. makes me crazy.

      you get what you give

        at straws is infuriating.

And thanks for the props--I have to give my sig proper citation, though--it was southernliberalinMD's better half who came up with it, I only borrowed it because it was perfect :)
