    Both candidates for mayor of Seattle endorse a $15 minimum wage.  Now of course the mayor doesn't have the power to institute it.  That would take a vote of the whole counsel but along with the fast food worker strikes it's a good start.  We would have to take back the state senate from the DINOs or pass an initiative to make it state wide but it could happen.  

    Unlike the federal minimum the WA version adjusts for inflation each year.  A 2% bump would bring us to $9.38 in 2014.  AND our McBurgers and such cost the same as everywhere else.
