Dems will not block, nor discourage the cutting of these programs in at least some way if teapers are not in control. That they will take the easy way out and go for the cuts that polls say people will accept, making deals with the old GOPs to get bills passed.

But, the thing about cutting costs doesn't necessarily mean cutting benefits.  Take Medicaid, for example.  Raise minimum wage.  Get a jobs bill passed.  Teach proper family planning so people don't birth their way into poverty.  So, will the old dems think progressively and push GOPers on it or will they take the easy way out and make cuts.

By the way, Obama said he would be willing to see what cuts can be made and has acknowledged the need for something to reduce these expenses.

So, with that, what happens?  Right now, the dems fight against the Teapers' insanity.  But if they leave, then what?

    1. What does it mean? 2. And then what?
