    ......if someone didn't feed fission reactor energy to the wolves as a cover to go on using carbon-based fuels with no interference. After all, fission power was very clumsily developed. For one thing, there was little interest in changing the design of reactors to make catastrophic accidents physically impossible. It seems almost as if fission reactors were the shiny dangled in front of the environmental movement to catch their eye and so delay the realization that the use of carbon-based fuels was steadily undermining the future health of the planet.
