  •  CCPI is NOT a modest cut (3+ / 0-)

Ryan is bragging about how the cuts compound over time.  That's the whole point, to have the benefits decrease over time.  Sometime the Republicans are actually more honest about their intent.

      I give up.

Reading comprehension is lost on this site:

some (not all) people on the other side propose what -- in comparison to the other side -- is a modest cut via chained CPI.
If people here don't believe that chained CPI is a "modest cut" in comparison to the dismantling of both SS and Medicare via privatization, then I'm done trying to make the point.

Cake or DEATH? Oh, I'll have cake, please.

. . .some of us are able to understand what we read least as well as you do. It is not that we do not understand you , it is that we see the CCPI as the same as privatization.  You do not.  OK, that's fine.  But we are not stupid.

If we are going to elect Democrats, lets elect real ones!

which is a huge pile of shit, our smaller pile of shit is better!

Don't know why you ever felt the need to flail this issue, but it doesn't get any more impressive with time, and would be a horrible message to run on in 2014.
Hey, we don't want to cut you SS and Medicare benefits as much or as fast!  I can see the donations and calls to volunteer just flooding in already.
