what world they live in? If they raise the benefit age, do these idiots know they will still have to pay SSI and Medicare?

Do they have children or grandchildren?
Do they not think they are going to get old?
Do they not know they are going to see a time when they can't make money anymore?
Do they not understand the system is so stacked against them that saving an appreciable amount of money is nearly impossible?
Do they know it's so the Koch brothers can make another couple of hundred billion?

...the GOP seems perfectly willing to hold their breath until the whole country turns Blue.

Lick the hand that feeds them.
The hand that feeds these fools belongs to the Koch Bros.

The legendary character actor, William Frawley, who played Fred Mertz on "I Love Lucy," was terminated from "My Three Sons" directly because of health insurance issues.

Frawley was a well-known character actor on popular TV shows who had the fortune to be able to work into his 70s. Imagine how the average no-name elderly person would fare taking Medicare vouchers to buy insurance in the private market ?  INSURANCE COMPANIES WILL NOT INSURE ELDERLY PEOPLE.  That is why Medicare was invented !  Duh !

Also, wish the average person in his or her mid-70s good luck in finding employment. May as well throw them to the wolves or push them off the cliff as shown in The Agenda Project's video 2 years ago.

From Wikipedia :  "William Frawley who played "Bub" O'Casey, the boys' maternal grandfather, was declared too ill to work by Desilu Studios, as the company was informed that insuring the actor would be too costly. Frawley continued in the role until a suitable replacement could be found at midseason . . . . Frawley says he was hurt by being ousted from the show and held a grudge against [William] Demarest for taking his job. Frawley died a short while later in March 1966 at age 79.

I guess Alan Grayson was right. The GOP health care plan is don't get sick, and if you do, die.

"He was dropped from My Three Sons after the studio could no longer obtain insurance for him."

The longer quote in my previous comment is taken from the Wiki entry on the TV show, "My Three Sons."
