    I don't do any international financial transactions with Europe and I don't imagine most Americans do either.  The only people who would be affected by restrictions on international transactions are corporate "persons", rich people hiding money abroad, and forex speculators.

    Domestic politics is the continuation of civil war by other means.

      that banking relationships between the US and Europe be suspended. While you personally may not have any banking relationships with Europe any company in your community that exports to Europe would have no way to collect for those products and would have to reduce staff, setting off a catastrophic economic crises that would effect much more than rich people hiding money or currency speculators.
