    officials not showing up when served subpoenas?  I seem to recall that happening during the Bush Admin with Harriet Myers and KKKarl Rove.  Not that I'm in favor of her doing that because I thought it was a terrible precedent.  By the way, Issa should STFU.  He's an intolerable douchebag.

      Time and again Bush administration officials just blew off subpoenas from Congress, claiming that under the separation of powers in the Constitution, the Executive Branch wasn't answerable to the Legislative Branch.

      The Obama administration should dust off those old "up yours" responses from the Bush years, cross off the date and name of whoever was subpoenaed, update them for now, and send it back to Issa. Maybe with a note that says, "We recall that this was a good enough answer under the previous administration, so we know you won't say anything about it now."
