    in Louisville and still mispronounce it like a native.  For the uninitiated it's Luh-uh-vull.  Now run it all together -- Luhuhvull.  Can you say that?  I knew you could!

    Thank you, SouthernLeveller, for this wonderful diary.  I can only add that Kentucky is also a very beautiful state.  When I go back for a visit I think about moving back.  Then I remember 20* temperatures and snow and think "To hell with it, I'm staying in Texas."  I was made for tropical issue.

    Being a native Kentuckian and naturalized Texan it's embarrassing that I share a last name with Ron and Rand.  No relation (so I fervently pray).  Hey, I may be Southern white trash, but, at least, I'm not a Republican.
