    Yes, this is a Reverse Goldentail Eel.
    It is one of the smallest Morays Max. length 27".
    It is a bit of a rare ell in that this one is reversed in its coloration. The Goldentail is usually brown with yellow markings.
    As to its grumpyness, I can only say that it doesn`t see very well but has a very sensitive sense of smell. Note the protruding nostrils.
    It`s best to feed it with a feeding stick. Hand feeding it will invariably get you snagged by the unusual array of extremely sharp teeth.
    I have had the painful experience of being bitten while working in the tank & not keeping an eye on it.
