even one single kid can move along on the road to knowledge and skill building.
The old method, reading, writing, arithmetic, worked fine to produce some of the greatest minds of the 20th century.
It can still work. multiplication tables in 3rd grade, plane geometry in 8th. With modern technology, it needs some tweaking, some upgrades.
The bottom line is that kids must learn to read. That means they must develop longer attention spans. If they can do that they're empowered. They're on the road to success.
They must develop self-discipline. They must develop self-motivation.
They need incentive. They need the promise of a career, of a life, a job when they complete their basic education.
Parents are very important in this process. They must help their kids.
We need more teachers. We need to pay teachers enough for them to have a decent career.
It's not rocket science, at K-12. We've known how to educate for a long time.
We don't need a bunch of corporations feeding off our society and corrupting our system.

You can't make this stuff up.
