the site, and its prevailing opinion, have evolved since then. In general, we've moved a bit to the left.

You'd have to study Daily Kos to get the full picture. A good first approximation would be, what gets posted in the front page articles? They still range from Brooklynbadboy's provocative rants to Adam B's justifications of Obama's policies. But most of the front pagers, definitely including Kos, have published pieces which took specific actions or policies of the administration to task.

There is frequent talk of "pie-fighting" on Daily Kos. You've already seen that there are some committed Obama supporters and centrists (called Roxxers, because Obama Rox for them); and there are some ardent progressives, free-speech advocates, and critics of the establishment (called Suxxers). There are always pie-fights raging between these two factions - and your diaries are now a magnet for both of them. That's not going to change.

I'd advise that you listen to everyone, but attend especially to any comments you receive from  the Front Pagers (like Kos and Meteor Blades). If one of the big kahunas of DKos is commenting in your diary, they know they're representing the admins here, so they'll usually weigh their words carefully.

And try to get a sense of the people in between Team Rox and Team Sux. Are most kossacks getting the salient points you're making, and listening reasonably to you; or are most kossacks getting exasperated, and complaining. Sorry if half of this comment was already obvious.
