    If you look at the link, the libertarian, Robert Sarvis, is getting 8%.

    Conventional wisdom would be that those are conservatives taking votes from Cuccinelli.   However, by 53-42, those voters say they would vote for McAuliffe if Sarvis were not on the ballot.

    That's not great for McAuliffe, but it tells you that the Republican ceiling in Virginia is even smaller than expected. That's good news for Democrats running for State Legislature (and probably for that still close Attorney General race).

    Now, to be fair, some of those folks could be just so turned off by Cuccinelli that they would vote McAuliffe/republican for state leg, but mor than likely it tells you that a significant number of would-be Republican votes just can't  vote Republican this year.
