  •  Probably more accurate to say (6+ / 0-)

    if Boehner brings it to the floor, there is a chance it would pass.  Most Dems and a few GOP votes to be sure, but until the vote it's hard to know(many House Republicans might balk  now even if otherwise inclined to vote yes, and a few Dems will probably still vote no).

    •  But he won't. Teabaggers will kill this and he (0+ / 0-)

      won't hold a vote if they are not on board, so nice exercise and we should keep trying...

      I think Pelosi could get close to 190 Democratic votes, and I think we can get 30 Republicans that are from purple state or districts to vote in their best interest.

      I agree with President Obama, our country's journey is not yet complete. We must continue the work that our forebearers at Seneca Falls started, and put the Equal Rights Amendment into our Constitution.

        both numbers too, but close doesn't guarantee passage.  It does mean there is a chance were it brought to the floor.
