    ... which they might very well do when it comes to Eagle applications, adult volunteers, and congregational troop sponsorship. In at least one case (the UUA) the national council barred a congregational organization from giving religion honors due to the lack of an explicitly theistic creed. I'm not certain if the controversy regarding Buddhist honors was ever settled.

    Believers are just as unwelcome in non-believing organizations.  
    Depends entirely on the organization in question. Many humanist groups are explicitly interfaith in their organizing.

    But the BSA wants to have their cake and eat it too. If the BSA is going to claim the civil rights loophole to discriminate against my sexuality and spirituality on the grounds that they're a theistically religious organization, then they shouldn't get preferential access to public buildings, facilities, and parks. And they won't get my popcorn purchase either.

    But I'll still buy Girl Scout Cookies, because the GSA doesn't discriminate.
