    Black history has incredible momentum right now with radical reinterp of the last 350 years, and it seems to stop with semi-current events with the terrorist victories in the assassinations of Evers, King, Hampton, etc., covert operations, prisons, and neo-segregation. Slavery and Jim Crow are just now coming into full light of intense scrutiny, along with supported reparations demands, increased racist violence at home and abroad, and very strong equal opportunity demands. Short of a Fukushima meltdown, there are no issues as high of a priority, still massively unresolved. Black journalists and poets like Ishmael Reed and Baraka are the most insightful.

      I presume you're talking to me. Well if you know any African American  publications that aren't owned by the Republicans give me a call...One of the weird questions is will there be any African American representation on the board or the staff...But if they do the kind of writing I think they'll do, about the subjects you're talking about, then that might not be a problem at first...
