if anyone is trying to sign on to the, way over press hyped problems, ACA site and using the updated Firefox browser, Good Luck!! Mine updated this morning again for the thousandth time and is doing nothing but hanging up for minutes on end in almost everything I've done and on almost every site visited, especially, but not limited to, if more then one tab is open. Done rebooted three or four times and each time shut off the modem and reconnected with each reboot, that hasn't helped, even cleaning the history as well. Looks like another update that will take time to clear and work as it should, or as close to as these browsers do!!

Yes, it is richly ironic that Internet Explorer turned out to be the browser that worked for me. I usually avoid it like the plague because it is such a buggy clusterfuck.

in Chrome--thanks to the ACA I found out that Google doesn't trust users to flip "allow pop-ups" on and off like other browsers--we need to be protected from evil popups and have to search help files to discover how to allow pop-ups. Even after figuring out how to allow pop-ups the site didn't work, but then it went unavailable for a few days and now seems to be working well, if somewhat slowly (right now--it is Saturday after all).

        •  Actually, just tried again, a key step (0+ / 0-)

still doesn't work--the "view eligibility results" still leads to a blank screen. I guess I'll have to sign out and sign in with IE.

The eligibility results are a pdf file. They usually show on the application page as a download. If not, you may want to install a pdf reader plugin for your browser.

I have downloaded two eligibility letters now, both mistate my eligibility (not sure why, but something in there doesn't seem to deal well with unconventional situations). But there's a link that, in Chrome, leads to a blank page of nothing. It doesn't happen in IE.

Incidentally, I'm using an older version of Windows, if that matters, but I wouldn't think it should.
