    is one side of the political coin; imposing and/or eliminating regulations will still be an option for the politicians.  The ACA has both and so will the politicians.  Notice that the rightwingers are no longer talking about repealing and "replacing".  They're just jumping way ahead by framing the ACA as the first step to single payer where simplifications of the system to the level of Medicare's complexity will force the rightwing to move on to issues of foreign policy and flame away at them.

      think and rely on planning to fail to garner support for not being as bad as they could be are going to be in a pickle.
      And it's not just the Republicans. "Elect me because I'm not as bad as the other side" is also a Democratic line.

      The pugilistic model has many adherents. Just an hour ago I got a missive from DFA about kicking "ass."
