  •  great news Ole Texan (7+ / 0-)

and thanks for posting today. Success stories are always inspiring, especially to those struggling with their quit. My good news today is that we're predicted to get our first freeze later this week which should put an end to the allergy misery, this year the meds have not quite kept up. We got just enough rain to encourage the grasses which are the main culprit out here.

    •  Congratulations! (6+ / 0-)

Our first freeze was last night (we've had a couple minor frosts).  The second freeze is tonight.

Hopefully that'll shut down the allergy factories for fall...

    •  Peace Wordsinthewind. I think (7+ / 0-)

as you do about those who write inspiring stories here at Gus. I have seen many. That is why I write here, not only for my own successes, but to inspire others.

Ha, your good news "a freeze" ughhh. I am wondering if the snow is somehow going to slow me down this winter. As much as I love snow-blowing and shoveling snow I am not as ready as other years ago.

I got my first cold chill this morning while errand roaming the town -- on foot. I need to walk -- a lot. That is no problem, but I am leery of my heart acting up during a snow clearing day around my home.

But hey, if it is destined to happen, what can I do?

I know, I know, take it easy...exactly what I will do.

It is good to see you Wordsinthewind, take care and don`t freeze out there.
