    imply then that Rand hasn't actually read the Federal oath or the KY oath, let alone understand their application. probably just glanced over the crib notes in passing.

      If they do, it generally applies only to state and local positions.
      I haven't bothered to dig through the KY statutes, though.

      I don't think these bans can apply to candidates for federal office, but you can never be sure without doing some detailed research. And the research tends to grow exponentially.

      Rick Scott in Florida comes to mind. Largest Medicare fraud EVER.

      This is why these assholes settle and plea to a misdemeanor rather than a felony or they just delay and appeal until they get a prosecutor or governor they can bribe. Or they go judge shopping.
