    I'm not sure if there are still Affirmative Action programs in place but we have government being the leading employer of Black men and #2 for Black women because the market is reluctant to hire them. That alone argues for some kind of affirmative action programs for private sector hiring to correct the obvious continuing natural discrimination of the market.

    Median family net worth of whites is 22x greater than median Black family net worth.

    That's an argument for some kinds of support that might have a race based element to it to close that enormous gap.

    If Affirmative Action altogether had been "just as unfair" as the advantage of white privilege, it would have canceled it out, and Black families would now be about as well off as white families. I think you'll see a lot of argument that the two are not in any way comparable.
