    The pro-choice, pro-environment, pro-public education, pro-LGBT rights, anti-polluter, anti-predatory lender, anti-bullying, pro-middle class growth, pro-safety net choice.
All you are going to get with Chris Christie is misery.

You don't even get Obama respect out of it. Not even that. Not even a bit.

This man is not above Benghazi batshit.

President Obama will find that out after the election.

    He's not above it.

Anymore than he is above screaming at a teacher who is one fourth his size and has one four hundredth of his power.

well the reason Elizabeth Warren could win here in MA is that she had some publicity from her experience in DC.

But Barbara Buono had little name recognition.
And NJ is a very expensive media market.

So there is some need to run a candidate that can actually win.

Obama 2012...going to win it with our support!!!

But registered Dems out number Reps by 750k.

And it only takes 2 hours to drive across the state (And that is long ways...)

It only has four cities larger than 100k... These little East coast states are perfect for "Glad-hand" politics.

A mind like a book, has to be open to function properly.

to knock doors in New Jersey.  It may sound like a small state but it densely populated. It's time consuming to cover even one major city.

Barbara Buono just didn't have enough money.  The worse part was that she had next to no money to recruit staff that will in turn recruit other activists.

if only the DGA had gotten off its lazy backside and actually helped her - with fundraising, with name rec, etc., as they frequently do with aspiring Democratic Governors.

Instead, the Democratic establishment - top to bottom - decided to hang Buono out to dry....why again? Were they hoping for some comity from Christie? Yeah, right - never happen.

The Virginia race I got emails from them but they were not involved in NJ.  I agree that she would have done better with early support from DGA.  Too many people gave her no chance before she ever got going.

      •  Imagine if Elizabeth Warren (0+ / 0-)

had been shunned by the Democratic establishment in the state and nationally, and the President and a bunch of Democrats who should all know better had given Scott Brown a 'we can live with him' pass as a candidate.

That's a burden she didn't have to bear.

And to put this all on Buono invites this to happen again and again and again.

People who might otherwise stand up have been given a stark lesson here. 'We myopically and stupidly fuck our own, and then blame them for dying of thirst or starvation when they fall as if that just happened'.

Elizabeth Warren would have been downplayed as an underwhelming candidate, because the alternative is for the Democratic establishment to look in the mirror and see how they epic fail and take responsibility for that.

        Elizabeth Warren isn't a wizard.

She got support as well as being a good Democratic candidate.

If Scott Brown got the Chris Christie pass, then Elizabeth Warren might have twisted in the wind for months and then would be the "we have a need for a candidate who can win" roadkill.
