    The $100 million giveaway in Corpus Christi, Texas known as Destination Bayfront went down in flames (that happens when Progressives and Tea Partiers hook-up and only the Chamber of Commerce is left).

    For 8,480 (35.46%)
    Against 15,437 (64.54%)

    Public money should follow private investment, not the other way around.

    In other Texas news all of the constitutional amendments on the ballot passed including Prop 6 that will allow us to build a water infrastructure to service a growing population, but unfortunately also the odious Prop 5 that legalizes Reverse Mortgages. Full statewide results here.
