    Turnout base group voters, never the fault of uninspiring, middle of the road Democratic candidates.  That McCauliff did so much better this time around isn't simply due to how awful Cuccinelli was, it was also due to the significantly more liberal tone of the Democratic campaign. How can the party continue to be so blind?  That so called demographic advantage means NOTHING unless Democrats give those folks some red meat, liberal candidates and issues.  The Party acts like all they have to do is sit back and let all those new demographic votes roll in, and it just ain't so.  It's not enough to give the new demographic something to vote against, they NEED something to vote FOR.  To the extent that they don't turn out, it is entirely the fault uninspiring candidates and a party that cannot see past Washington DC.
