I want to set the story strait about somethings that were said on this website regarding me and my lack of dental care with the VA system. My wife and I are very honest Christian people. "VETWIFE" spoke to my wife and I the other day. She said that it might be a good idea if I went to the VA's Emergency Room to be seen as I was in horrible pain. Thank you VETWIFE for your suggestions but I am so very thankful that VET63 took my burdens upon his shoulders LITTERALLY. Vetwife, during the process you websites may be interesting reading but right now it is impartive that my pain is dealt with and all my infections.

I did call the following day.  I spoke with a Social Worker at the local VA hospital. She said that unless I was exhibiting fevers and true signs of infections that they would probably just give me antibiotics and send me on my way. A day after that, I received an email from VET63 in which he offered to help in ways I thought were never possible. He said that he would like to help and had me scheduled to see local Dentist to have me checked out. I couldn't believe that Vet63 had me scheduled to see a Dentist by 2:00 p.m. the same day!!!!! The Dentist took x-rays and found 11 teeth that were infected. She put me on Antibiotics and said that every tooth in my mouth had to be extracted by not her but an Oral Surgeon. After that, she would have me fitted for dentures. She said it would take six to 12 months for my gums to heal after all my teeth were extracted. All this after VET63 read my plea for help and took the ball and ran with it. I have never seen anyone that offered to help personally as he did! I truly believe that after praying for so many nights about my dental problems, that God answered by letting VET63 answer our email.
God Bless You VET63 and anyone out there for helping us and giving us advise.
