    didn't get what that Miller/Merrill thing was supposed to be, but I think I could buy him either as victim or perp, depending on where the story went after the introductory paragraphs.

    My first thought was to agree w/SenSho: this guy is just asking to be whacked. But he's also obnoxious enough (and has a big enough sense of entitlement) to think he could get away with murder.

    So, ya done good.

      yeh he sure IS asking to be whacked! LOL.  hopefully he would get convicted by the trial in the preceding comment. it would be nice if all 4 victims turned out to be not dead at all but instead attempted on. the reading public would never buy it, but since i'm in no position to 'sell' it, i can fantasize all i wanna.

        That's for sure! I think the best novels come out of authorial fantasies...plus a whole lot of hard work, learning to write novels that people will buy.
